Fix A Rip On Mock Leathar Couch

Coachella third-Friday-

Good here ... a little late (* cough, cough *), an overview of this first day at Coachella ... from my point of view! I was a little underestimated the task of moving through the directory 59 artists and bands!

The "headliners"

Among the 6 "headliners" ( Kings of Leon, Interpol, Chemical Brothers, Roby, Black Keys and Caifanes ) this Friday, I retain only Black Keys, which I still have quite some doubts, since their 3 most popular songs ("Tighten Up," "Lies" and "Everlasting Light") are rather different from the rest of their repertoire . But it may be the biggest show of the evening for me ....

The bands I already knew property:

The Morning Benders is probably the group that I expect most on this day Friday. In addition to the locals (Berkeley, CA), their music and their instruments in harmony to create this blend of beauty and pain (see text) ... which can not remain indifferent.

Cold War Kids remain an enigma to the world of music ... it seems you love or hate no in between ... ... Pitchfork, in which side their 3 Albums 5 / 10, 5.1/10 and 3.9/10 (given by "authors" different and more) have clearly stated their views. The mine now ... Cold War Kids is the music the most "catchy" I've heard in years!

Titus Andronicus, I had the chance to see the Green Room before it burns, reminds me of my early teens and this long period when I lived as for punk and ska! Expect a crowd excessively hairy and oozing!

The Rural Alberta Advantage Toronto is a group full of promise for the future! Two songs deserve special active listening: "Drain the Blood" and the one here:

Warpaint is a group that a friend introduced me to (thank you Vicky) and I sometimes reminiscent of the old Jefferson Airplane . For the curious and interested, it will run at the Sala Rossa on March 27 (tickets $ 16) (I'll be there!).

Discoveries:

Sleigh Bells , this most beautiful discovery can be summarized in one sentence: The band that kills speakers of your Mac by orgasm decibels sustained for too long! You've been warned ...

Cold Cave is, I believe, the second greatest discovery of the day Friday. The girl and the guy of the band share the voice of their repertoire ... but I prefer it, since he has a voice to Ian Curtis, a little too well. I will put 2 so they m'emballent:

And here, how not to note the resemblance Xiu Xiu!

Magnetic Man, this does is not usual in my registry but saying that in the techno / electronica, I reckon that I have not heard anything 'as good since I found Fenech Soler . Hopefully they will play in early evening and we will get a "light show" we too!

Crystal Castles is a name I had often seen and heard but do not have the curiosity to listen, and I must confess that when you're in plays one, you got no choice then all listen ... as addictive as the series 24 Hours (it seems). But maybe not for everyone. I suggest you also "Untrust Us".

The Drums is really the most complete discovery for me ... I had not even heard his name once in my life, and now I realize they have quickly become known mega England . This group of NY might well have come from California so it smells like coconut suntan lotion on!

Finally, YACHT is a band that really pique my curiosity .... you really feel they are slightly misaligned ... and we really like that people are lunatics ... and what about that video!
